Brand: SENOR
Model: TAV-500/11 A
Type: Elastic Plug for Decoupling Metal Structures from Floors and Vertical Installations
Description: TAV-500/11 A is a specialized acoustic plug designed for complete decoupling of the self-supporting metal structure of plasterboard partitions and front wall linings from the floor (lower concrete slab) and vertical walls. It is installed in the lower horizontal U-channel and vertical fixings, isolating the fastening elements (screws) from surrounding materials, thereby breaking the sound bridge and preventing structural noise transmission.
For the upper ceiling channel, the matching model TAV-500/11 R is used.
Manufactured from innovative KRAIBURG-TPE polymer, the plug provides a high damping coefficient and excellent vibration isolation in the medium and low frequency range, with measured vibration reduction of up to 98.6%. Its effectiveness increases significantly when used in combination with SENOR BEC acoustic strips.
Advantages:
-
Decouples the metal structure from floors and vertical walls – installed in the lower U-channel and vertical fixings
-
Ergonomic design isolates the screw from surrounding materials – eliminates the sound bridge
-
Improves sound insulation by 16 dBA compared to a system without plugs (7 dBA more than without plug)
-
Vibration reduction up to 98.6%
-
In combination with SE-4800/TDM – total system insulation Rw = 70 dB
-
KRAIBURG-TPE polymer with resonance frequency 7–15 Hz
-
Fire resistance EI120 – tested by TECNALIA according to EN 1364-1:2015
-
Compatible with 48, 70, 90, 125 mm profiles and similar
-
Product lifespan: 10 years under normal conditions
