Description:
Multilayer membrane ChovACUSTIC 65 FIELTEX 20mm 7,4kg / m² (formed from a textile filter and a high density viscoelastic layer) fixed by a ChovASTAR COLA AISLAMIENTOS contact adhesive to a 48mm thick stainless steel support structure with fasteners (vertical fasteners (600mm spacing between them) and channels (horizontal elements) on the outside of which a 15mm plasterboard panel is added.
The system is made with ChovANAPA 4cm PANEL 600 (acoustic polyester nappa absorbent material) placed between the fasteners.

Installation:
1. It must be checked beforehand whether there are no gaps and cracks on the surface and that they become smeared. The contact adhesive, ChovASTAR COLA AISLAMIENTOS, is then applied to the surface of the wall and the insulation material. Approximate cost: 0.25 l / m2. The adhesive can be replaced by ChovAFIX 6 assemblies.
2. While the adhesive becomes suitable for bonding, you can cut the ChovACUSTIC 65 FIELTEX sheet with the length of the wall. To avoid unnecessary effort, the roller rolls from the bottom up, while sticking to the barrier with slight pressure. The viscoelastic sheet must remain visible.
3. The next step should be followed according to the recommendations in steps 1 and 2, forming the 2cm coating that the product suggests. The insulating materials are then sealed together with ELASTOBAND 50 sealing adhesive tape.
4. Mount the metal structure of the partition wall at a distance of 2 cm from the ChovACUSTIC 65 FIELTEX material, according to the installation instructions for plasterboard. The distance between the fasteners should be 600 mm and the ELASTOBAND 50 structural insulation strip underneath each of the grooves. For the walls to be supported, shock absorbers 3801 / TD1 must be used.
5. Place the ChovANAPA 4 cm PANEL 600 absorbent acoustic material between the fasteners.
6. Mount a 15mm plasterboard onto the metal structure and seal the joints between the parts according to the installation instructions of the plasterboard systems.
