Green diode are using more stable and longer working life diode solid-state (DSS) laser technology which means when power on, the diode will have laser output directly. It can work properly between -10 ° and 50 °.
While the normal diode pumped solid-state(DPSS) laser with wavelength of 532nm is easily and hugely affected by the temperature. Also its structure and production process is more complicated than pure diode.
532nm green DPSS diode proper work temperature is between 15°and 40°. The stability is not as good as diode solid-state laser.
So 520nm wavelength green diode which is more stable, much longer life, much purer, much brighter than green diode @532nm.
