Safety system:

The ELC-740 has two safety systems that ensure maximum reliability when lifting and lowering

1.- Automatic brake winch of the Austrian manufacturer AL-KO Ref. AL-KO 450 (450 kg)

Its automatic locking system ensures that the load remains at the required height; once the required height is reached, the brake mechanism locks the load when the handle is released.

2.- ASB system (automatic safety blocking system).

Zip/Trigger safety system with safety bolts. In the extreme event of a cable break, the safety bolt will immediately lock the mast, stopping the load from falling.

The ELC-740 tower is manufactured with the most advanced welding equipment, which guarantees the highest level of safety and strength, meeting the requirements of lightness, strength and maneuverability necessary for lifting heavy loads.

BASE SECTION:

The compact 41 x 41 cm base is specially designed to allow access to confined spaces with the tower. It is equipped with four movable stabilizing legs equipped with leveling screw jacks that have reinforced nylon swivel handles (ergonomic design) with double thread (faster adjustment) which makes the task of leveling easier and chrome foot plates with non-slip injection molded rubber pads. These foot plates ensure perfect adjustment of the tower to the floor surface.

MAST SECTIONS:

This roll-up stand consists of four telescopic sections made of reinforced steel and finished with a textured, anti-scratch black powder coating (epoxy). This coating makes the tower suitable for outdoor use, guaranteeing maximum corrosion resistance.

The masts are equipped with:

a) Welded reinforced end which strengthens the mast.
b) Mast adjustment system to prevent swinging of mast sections (metal ergonomic knob).
c) Sheave guards which reduce the possibility of damage to the sheaves during handling and transport, while at the same time preventing the cable from becoming detached from the sheaves.
d) The upper mast is supplied with a reinforcing sleeve.

LIFTING PROCESS:

For a quick, safe and easy lifting process, the ELC-740 telescopic towers are equipped with an AL-KO manual winch AL-KO 450 (450 Kg) with an automatic braking system that stops and holds the load at the desired height: once it has reached the desired height, by releasing the winch handle, the brake system automatically stops and holds the load in place.

The mast sections are extended using a set of bearing pulleys and galvanized steel wire rope with a steel core (Composition: 7×19+0) specially manufactured for lifting heavy loads (DIN 3060).

Note: The masts are locked at the desired height using the safety bolts (required when using the tower).

It is equipped with a leveler for correct vertical adjustment of the telescopic masts and leveling of the tower.

TRANSPORT

Its base is fitted with four heavy-duty swivel castors, two with brakes, to make handling and transport a breeze. The wheels are attached to the base using a metal plate with 4 attachment points; to ensure secure fixation even when moving the tower over uneven terrain.

ELC-740 towers are supplied with a handle to aid in handling.
