What makes our stages different?

Frame:

The TM440S Deck has a strong frame made with special extruded aluminium profiles (alloy EN-AW 6082 T6 in accordance with UNE-EN573). Its continuous rail design guarantees a quick and easy platform connection, allowing easy attachment of a wide range of accessories: access stairs, safety rails, stage skirting, etc.

TRIPLE SECURING SYSTEM of the panel to the frame:

• Strong adhesive foam
• 20 Stainless steel screws
• Silicone

The plywood panel is secured to the frame structure by means of Strong adhesive foam, 20 stainless steel screws and silicone, which prevent possible noises and vibrations, and also contribute to their overall weather resistance.

The leg sockets are made in sturdy aluminium and each one is fixed to the profiles by means of 4 bolts and self-locking hex nuts; guaranteeing maximum strength and durability. The legs are quickly and easily secured into the sockets by an ergonomic metal knob; which also guarantees maximum safety and total durability.

Panel:

TM440S Decks have a 15 mm thick panel, made of best quality 100% Birch WISA® plywood panel (WBP), composed of phenolic resin coated layers, making them resistant to bad weather conditions and humidity.

It is specially designed for those applications where high wear resistance and good non-slip properties are required. The composition and density of the plywood make our panels very compact and sturdy.

The panel is made with WBP glue, for humidity resistance, as well as a treatment for resistance against commonly used cleaning products.
These features guarantee the highest resistance and durability for both indoor and outdoor use. To make this panel even longer lasting, all its edges have been sealed with acrylic paint (according to BFU 100) to prevent water infiltration.

The birch panel used meets the requirements of the following standards:

– SFS 2415 / type EXT
– BS 6566 part 8 / type WBP
– DIN 68705 part 3 / type BFU 100
– EN 314-2 / type EXT

NOTE: Our decks are designed for situations where short periods of rain or bad weather may appear and threaten your event. Rather than having to dismantle your stage immediately, the show can go on without fear of your deck surface warping or delaminating like other stage platforms. If the bad weather persists the platforms should be dried and stored away.

The deck surface is weather resistant, NOT WATERPROOFED, but can withstand moisture on an intermittent basis. It was not designed to be used as a permanent installation where it is exposed to harsh elements all year round.

Legs:

GUIL manufactures 3 types of platform legs (NOT INCLUDED): fixed height legs for a specific platform height, fixed height legs with leveller and telescopic legs for an adjustable platform height (or uneven terrain).

Fixed height legs

Standard legs with square profiles of 40 x 40 mm are manufactured with extruded aluminium (Alloy: EN-AW 6082 T6). These removable legs are provided with special non-marking non-slip terminals guaranteeing total adjustment to any surface.

Fixed height legs with leveller

The legs made with square profiles of 40 x 40 mm manufactured with extruded aluminium (Alloy: EN-AW 6082 T6).

These legs are come with a stainless steel threaded spigot with a non-skid rubber foot pad, which allows us to adjust the height by 50 mm, guaranteeing durability and a perfect adjustment on slightly uneven ground.

Telescopic legs

Telescopic legs are manufactured with extruded aluminium (Alloy: EN-AW 6082 T6), have an external square profile of 40 x 40 mm and special non-marring non-slip terminals ensuring a perfect fit to any surface.

Its telescopic design offers different heights with just one set of legs (adjustable millimetre by millimetre) and ensures a perfectly levelled stage when setting up on uneven surfaces (ramps, stairs, outdoor terrain, etc.) in a quick, easy and reliable way.

The leg height is blocked with a double locking system. Once the desired height is achieved the leg is secured with a metallic pressure knob, then, as an added safety measure legs are blocked with a nut and bolt, firmly locking the legs in position.
