Description: Heavy duty modular platform, water and fire resistant and rated for 1600 kg / m2 (2x1m: 3200 kg (evenly distributed)) .TM440XXL is weather resistant and robust aluminum extruded, no mm series used (15 coats) 100% birch phenolic plywood panel (WISA® brand) with sealed edges.

Plug in 2 metal connectors: 1 x TMU-01 & 1 x TMU-02.

The TM440XXL offers virtually the best solution for any heavy-duty vision, with multiple configurations for permanent (temporary) and temporary installations (frame, concerts, theaters, podiums, conservatories, automotive installations, etc.) .

Thanks to their weather resistant 100% birch panel and their reinforced aluminium framework, TM440XXL decks are the suitable for both indoor and outdoor events. These features make GUIL decks the best option for those applications which require a high load capacity and a quick and easy set-up and disassembly.

Yes, we use plywood panels, but from forests that are responsibly managed.

That’s why the panels we use to make our platforms at GUIL have the FSC stamp (Forest Stewardship Council), which guarantees that the wood comes from sustainable forestry, giving the consumer the option to choose responsibly.

Our decks do not require under-panel reinforcing crossbars, as their components guarantee maximum safety (reinforced frame profile, 100% BIRCH PLYWOOD (21 mm THICK) and fastening methods and components); exceeding the required load by the mentioned standards during the load tests carried out.

Our TM440XXL platforms are certified for a load capacity of 1600 kg/m2 complying with the following safety norms:

• DIN 15921:2015-09: Technical safety requirements and tests for aluminium platforms and frames for the Event Industry
• 2001/95/CE Directive: European Parliament product safety requirements from 3rd December 2001
• DGUV Regulation 17: Stage installations and set-ups for the Event Industry

Panel:

TM440XXL decks have a weather resistant 21 mm thick, best quality 100% birch plywood panel from the Finnish manufacturer WISA®. The panel has a non-slip surface finish with a wire mesh pattern printed thanks to a hot pressing process and is composed of 15 plies; each layer is coated with phenolic resin, making them resistant to bad weather conditions and humidity (WBP).

Note: WISA® panels are printed with their brand logo to differentiate them from the imitations.

The panel is treated to be water and fire resistant, as well as being treated to protect it against commonly used chemicals; features that guarantee the highest resistance and durability for both indoor and outdoor use. To make this panel even longer lasting, all its edges have been sealed with black acrylic paint and silicone to prevent water infiltration.

The plywood we use, made SOLELY from 100% birch wood, is specially designed for those applications where high wear resistance and good non-slip properties are required. The composition and density of the plywood make our panels very compact and sturdy.

The birch panel used meets the requirements of the following standards:

– EN 314-2/clase 3

– DIN 5113

NOTE:Our decks are designed for situations where short periods of rain or bad weather may appear and threaten your event. Rather than having to dismantle your stage immediately, the show can go on without fear of your deck surface warping or delaminating like other stage platforms. If the bad weather persists the platforms should be dried and stored away. The deck surface is weather resistant, NOT WATERPROOFED, but can withstand moisture on an intermittent basis. It was not designed to be used as a permanent installation where it is exposed to harsh elements all year round.

Frame:

TM440XXL Deck has a heavy-duty frame made with a 94 mm special profile of high strength extruded aluminium (EN AW 6063 80-T6 Alloy) with 4 internal reinforcing nerves.

Its multifunctional continuous rail design guarantees a quick and easy platform connection, allowing easy attachment of a wide range of accessories: access stairs, safety rails, stage skirting, temporary grandstand seats etc.

The plywood panel is secured to the frame structure by means of strong adhesive foam, 20 stainless steel screws and silicone, which prevent possible noises and vibrations, at the same time contributing to the overall weather resistance of the deck.
