Installation:

1. Embroidery tape
The ribbon is placed on the floor without the need to fix it further. For the installation of the strip from the ceiling and the two edges of the wall, use the adhesive ChovASTAR COLA AISLAMIENTOS as the adhesive is applied to both the base and the strip.

The barrier must be centered on the strip, also taking into account the thickness of the plaster. For bars with 90 mm thick, BANDADESOLARIZANTE 150 is used.

Cutting the top plate

The division between the last row of bricks and the embossing strip should not be more than 30 mm. This space is filled with a mixture of gypsum and water in the following approximate proportions: 1,8 kg gypsum and 1 l. water.

2. It must be checked beforehand that the barrier has no gaps and cracks. Then apply the ChovAFIX COLA adhesive only to the wall surface and let it dry for 3 - 5 min.

Approximate consumption: 0.25 l / m².

3. While the glue becomes suitable for bonding, you could cut the ChovACUSTIC PLUS sheet with the length of the partition wall. To avoid unnecessary effort, the roller rolls from the bottom upwards, while at the same time sticking to the barrier with slight pressure.

4. The next step should be followed according to step 2 and 3, forming the 2cm coating that implies the product. These joints will then be sealed with ELASTOBAND 50 sealing tape / self-adhesive tape.

5. Finally, build the last layer of partition wall with brick, leaving no dividing space between the layers. This second piece of brick has to be plastered over its entire surface, covering all the free space between the planks.

Notes:

Recommendations for the installation

To avoid acoustic insulation performance, it is recommended to follow the following recommendations:

- You can only break one or two holes in the brick, never the whole brick.
- Avoid matching the same position of the bricks on both layers
- Finish with adequate screed
