Description: Strictly specialized to meet the needs of the market for noise insulation for the minimum thickness ceiling, the OMEGA UP system is developed by a combination of high-grade silicone vibrating suspensions of the Spanish company Senor with an elastic high-strength metal structure designed for acoustic purposes. The use of synthetic wool for acoustic material not only gives better acoustic performance, but also fulfills the standards for environmentally friendly product. Gypsum plasterboard in combination with the soundproofing membrane provide the necessary weight to reduce the passage of sound waves between rooms. The finishing gypsum board is selected to be easily processed and prepared for paint.

The sound-proofing membrane is also specially selected so as to have maximum plasticity to create sufficient shear resistance between the panels and to reduce the resonance effect of the matching frequencies. The elastic microporous rubber band separates the plasterboard and membrane panels from the contact elements of the floor and ceiling slabs and the surrounding perpendicular walls. The system is suitable for sound and TV sound insulation, where the sound pressure is in the range 250Hz - 5000Hz. A prerequisite for its implementation is the wall, which is made to have minimal vertical and horizontal deviations within 10 to 15 mm. The system is executed until the joints of the gypsum board are filled.

How our system works:
The simplified model used for system design is the vibro-acoustic mass-spring-mass model (see drawing), where m1 is the mass of the existing wall, m2 is the total mass of the gypsum board, the membrane and the gypsum board. k and d represent the elastic connection between the two masses (anti-vibration suspension) and the damping porous plane (synthetic wool).In general, the influence of the physical parameters of the system can be represented in the following graph (see graph)

The influence of the elastic bond between the wall and the panels is defined by a number of suspension parameters, such as dynamic stiffness, viscosity, natural frequency and frequency-dependent elasticity. All of these parameters are combined and carefully designed for each system to minimize the transmission of structural vibrations from the existing wall to the combined panels. with the wall.
