Brand: Made in Spain
Model: Nivelador UP Rw = 64dB
Type: Noise insulation for the ceiling
Description: The specially developed elastic hanger of the Spanish company Senor allows easy and stable leveling of the new suspended ceiling, without compromising the mechanical or anti-vibration properties of the connection. The system uses high-class metal profiles molded specifically for this type of hanger, providing enough width for proper installation of gypsum fiberboard. The use of synthetic wool for acoustic material gives not only better acoustic characteristics, but also meets the standards for environmentally friendly product. The gypsum fiberboard in combination with the sound insulation membrane provides the necessary weight to reduce the passage of sound waves between the rooms. The final gypsum board is chosen to be easily processed and prepared for painting. The soundproofing membrane too so it is specially selected so as to have maximum ductility to create sufficient shear resistance between the plates and to reduce the resonance effect of the matching frequencies. The elastic microporous rubber band separates the gypsum fiberboard and membrane panels from the contact elements of the floor and ceiling slab, as well as the surrounding perpendicular walls. The system is suitable for sound insulation from airborne noise from speech and television, where sound pressure is in the range 250Hz - 5000Hz not greater than 85dBA.

How our system works:
Simplified, the model used for the design of the systems is the vibro-acoustic model of "mass - spring - mass" (see diagram), where m1 is the mass of the existing wall, m2 is the total mass of the gypsum fiberboard, membrane and gypsum board. k and d represent the elastic connection between the two masses (anti-vibration hanger) and the damping porous board (synthetic wadding). The board is defined by a number of parameters of the hanger, such as dynamic stiffness, viscosity, natural frequency and frequency-dependent elasticity. All these parameters are combined and carefully designed for each system to minimize the transmission of structural vibrations from the existing wall to the combined panels.Increasing the sound insulation in medium and high frequencies when using specially selected elastic connections reaches 10dB, compared to a direct connection to the wall.
Purpose: For sagging of the ceiling tile, greater than 10 mm, the most suitable and effective system for sound insulation of minimum thickness is NIVELADOR UP. Designed for thin ceiling tiles below 150 mm, where the element has reduced sound insulation characteristics and the distance is limited. Suitable for sound insulation in residential, public and office buildings.
