The RCF line of speakers includes a wide range of transducers covering the entire audio spectrum. The transducers are designed to optimize the relationship between sound clarity, combining no distortion and the ability to withstand high power levels for long periods of time. RCF is developing advanced technology for converters, including the application of high-tech materials such as neodymium, carbon fiber, pure titanium, Kevlar, Kapton and Mylar hybrids. With over 70 years of experience in market design and manufacturing, RCF plays an important role in technological inventions such as: carbon fiber cone forming, double silicon spiders, internal / external sound coil windings to edge voice coil production and diaphragm formation of pure titanium. FiRPHASE TECHNOLOGY
RCF speakers are designed with proprietary and advanced digital FiR technology designed to deliver transparent sound, absolute clarity and a perfect listener image. Special FiRPHASE filters allow coherent sound distribution for all listeners without phase distortion, ensuring minimal latencies in the system. The design of the FIR filter for this specific purpose starts with accurate measurement of the speaker phase. The FiRPHASE algorithm uses this measurement and adapts the phase of the speaker without touching the amplitude equalization. The heart of the advanced technique used by FiRPHASE is a recursive method (least squares method), combined with its own algorithm that calculates the best FIR filter coefficients set according to amplitude and phase constraints. The algorithm adjusts the phase and amplitude (if necessary), taking into account the weak points of the transducers and the resonances or cancellation due to the speaker housing. This technique allows deep phase control at medium-low frequency with relatively small filters, reaching a higher resolution than that suggested by the theory.
POWERFUL AMPLIFIERS CLASS D
RCF's Class-D power amplifier technology combines high performance with high efficiency in a lightweight solution. ART 7 amplifiers provide ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response and impressive audio performance. The amplifier features a solid mechanical aluminum structure that not only stabilizes the amplifier during transport, but also helps dissipate heat without a fan. All ART 7 amplifiers have an SMPS power supply section to produce maximum power and minimum transport weight.
